Subject: Naval Directive 22-9-003 - Task Group Establishment

Effective 0001 Hours on 17 September 2022 the following units are established and aligned as indicated:

• Task Group 12 is established and shall encompass the 1st and 2nd Navies and their subordinate elements.  The Task Group shall operate in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, its commander shall serve as the Senior Naval Officer to the Alpha and Beta Chief Marshals.
• Task Group 34 is established and shall encompass the 3rd and 4th Navies and their subordinate elements.  The Task Group shall operate in the Gamma and Delta Quadrants, its commander shall serve as the Senior Officer to the Gama and Delta Chief Marshals.

Task Group Commanders are authorized to further task organize elements within their area subject to the approval of the Quadrant Chief Marshal

The Task Groups are  temporary and shall be inactivated on this command or higher's orders, or at the request of the Quadrant Chief Marshal.
